My photography passion revolves around the city of Chicago. Coming from the suburbs, each trip into the city requires planning. I put all of this knowledge into my Amazon best-selling book, The Photographer's Guide to Chicago.

I taught high school physics for 17 years, but I recently left teaching physics to teach photography and run Out of Chicago full time. I live in the Chicago suburbs with my wife and two young children. When I'm not organizing the next Out of Chicago conference you'll find me at the park with the kids or playing guitar. I love to golf and I just started playing ice hockey!
